Another Finish

Finished Indian Summer by Kick Back and Stitch. I had a lot of frustrustruations stitching this pattern. Although not difficult I ended up doing a lot of frogging as I was often stitching when tired.

I'm determined to finish this club soon. I have 4 more patterns (out of the original 16 to stitch).

Another Finish

Tonight I finished another Kick Back & Stitch piece. It was part of the Seasons Club from Fireside Stitchery. This one is Early Blossoms. This piece, and Maple Leaves will be going to the local shop - Park Avenue Needlepoint - for finishing this weekend. They are also having a trunk show - Julie Pischke Designs from Key West Florida. Seeing the canvases brought back memories of many, many years ago spending winter holidays in Florida visiting family.

I'm Stephanie and I live in Dayton OH. I live here with my three kitty friends:

Sammy - 9 years old - grey tabby - wandered into my condo as a kitten when I lived in Guam with his littermate Tigger

Tigger - 9 years old - brown tabby - Sammy's littermate

Pepper - 10 years old - black DSH - rescued from Guam pound at 1 year old; nickname DaddyKat, as he took Sam & Tigg under his wing when they showed up and 'mothered' them

I love to stitch, read, and run. I haven't been able to run much lately - first I hurt my right hip and now my left achilles is strained, so I am stuck walking and biking.

As far as stitching goes I like counted cross stitch and needlepoint mostly.
